Hi!

I have searched through all threads (I Think).. but still cannot really find an answer to the question:

CV52 - Motor type
- What value or setting should I be using on MÄRKLIN decoder 60942 for a standard 5-pole drum collector motor with HAMO-magnet?

0 - Aux
1 - Motor - Softdrive sine ... not I guess..
2 - Motor without feedback ... not I guess..
3 - Motor High Efficiency propulsion C90
4 - Motor Bell armature ... not I guess..
5 - Motor direct current DC soft
6 - Motor direct current DC hard
7 - Motor direct current DC 1 Gauge ... not I guess..

I'm converting a HO 3382 V200 loco btw... But the information will be useful for many of my converted locos, which has different settings currently.

Hello, are you using standard kits from marklin ?
The 5 pole rotor and magnet?
With them I am using the C90 settings and they work well

Yepp! Märklin standard conversion motor parts (motor plate, 5-pole rotor and HAMO magnet).
Okey. I'll try that setting.
Thank you!

Hi Martin, is this not the default setting for the 60942 decoder?

The conversions I've done with the 60942 and Marklin motor kit (60944) have worked very well without any adjustment of CV52.

As I use a MS2 it detects the MFX in the decoder and does not give me the option of changing CV's, so I am concerned that it could be an issue, if I ever do a conversion that does not give me good results.

Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.
