Hello,

Today I got via the 7286 turntable and to be second hand it is in a very good shape.

Tuntable picture

Before I purchased it, I saw a few videos via youtube where the turntable produce sounds while being operated. Below an example:

Turntable with sound video

Does anybody knows how to achieve this? I would love to get mine making sounds.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Danilo,all,
Thanks for the video!ThumpUp
First off it hard to tell what sound(s) is coming from the lok,if any and what add on sounds from the TT.If you YouTube a real TT other than chuff of a dampflok, then only sound would be the whine sound of the electrical motors driving the TT.
My best quess and that all it is,is wire the sound to when the TT actually rotates to what control you are using.

We will start there,....

When my computer software moves my turntable, it plays a turntable rumble through the PC speaker below the turntable.

There are some articles around on how to power / control a turntable with a Lokpilot decoder. You could use a Loksound instead and program that with appropriate sounds.

My german is not good enough (lol) and it seems quite complicated. Also, I don't see the Marklin turntable decoder in the middle... It replaces the M decoder with its own decoder?

Hello Danilo,

I translate with Bing

The turntable will require modification. I have no experience with this Brandt decoder but maybe someone else can help.
