Hi all,

I wanted a cheap solution to equip my Tin Plate Passenger cars with Interior Lights.

I purchased a LED warm white Lightstrip from Amazon.ca ( 600 LED 12 Volt) and modified it for battery Power. I am using Ni-Cads 2.4 Volt ( in one Picture it is pack from a cordless Phone ).

The Lightstrip has a self adhesive backing and is stuck on the Roof of the Car the battery fits nicely into the car body.

Total cost per Car about $ 9.00. The battery Charge lasts over 24 hr before it needs recharging. I also tried this with a 3.6 volt Ni-cad but I found it to be to bright.
