Hi Walter,
My first suggestion is to read the manual as I did: it explains how the MS2 has to be used.
If the locomotives you have are MFX, they automatically register to the MS2 and you can immediately control them.
Controlling turnouts and signals is a little bit difficult, but not so much.
Cheers

Just add those locos from the database and they will have the correct name and function symbols. If you changed any addresses, you will have to correct the address in the MS2.
Thomas and Percy probably have the same address. Make sure you only have one loco on the track when you change the address. You only have to alter the address of one of these locos. |

Al is well, all trains are running and are controlled with the MS2. Want to know something silly? When I first tried to program, I looked for the locs in the Loco List. That loco list is now gone, and I found all my locs in the DataBase. |

Before pursuing this statement, we advice checking/updating the software on the 60653/MS2 Different versions supported a different number of items stored in the LocoList Note: The LocoList is NOT the same as the WorkList (along the bottom of the screen). In the very first version there just happened to be a 1<>1 alighnment because they both had 10 In the later versions NOT REFLECTED IN THE MANUAL you have, the Locolist can now contain up to 40 |

Out of curiosity how do you update the software on a MS2 if you have no access to a CS2?
Cheers Peter

Cheers Peter An updated MS2 is another option to get the update. Most Märklin dealers should be able to do it and for anyone who does not have dealer they can visit or ship to, I would be happy to help with an update... Cheers, Gordon
