I find the internal CS2 webserver very usefull and it has a lot of information.

You can reach this webserver very easy, if the the CS2 is connected to your home LAN.
On your computer, connected to the same network, type in the IP address of the CS2:

In my case 192.168.1.115
This brings up the webserver with a bunch of tabs which are self explanatory in most cases.
If you click on the tab "HILFE" (help), it brings up all the help files in the CS2 in German.
If you want the english version you only have to change the "de" to "en" (or "nl" for dutch)

http://192.168.1.115/hilfe/de/ - change de in en for english http://192.168.1.115/hilfe/en/

Nice is also the icon tab. This brings you to all the icons stored in the CS2.
If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you have the possibility to upload your own loco photo into the CS2.
I uploaded my own photo of the Northlander that way!

Be careful though not to accidentally delete a file somewhere under the other tabs. Your CS2 might not be working as before.

Just wanted to share this info!

I think this was mentioned here a few times, but a reminder can't harm.

You may have to try several browsers. IIRC the Internet Explorer will not work correctly for XP users.

On my XP computer I have Internet Exploder (latest version, I think it's 8) and Firefox. There are problems with IE, but FF works.

I've heard that current versions of IE will also work with the CS2 (but you need Windows 7 or higher to get IE 11, IE 8 is the latest version for XP).

A Complete set of commands that can be used with the Internal Webserver in CS2 can be found on this Page at this danish site for modelrailroaders :

http://www.sporskiftet.d...vad-den-kan-anvendes-til

Just change the IP-Adress according to the one that you use with our own Centralstation 2 or make your on HTML-File file with all the shown Commands that can

be used and save it as Local HTML-file on your Computer.

Use Google Translate the translate the Wiki-page in to your own Language as the site is in Danish.

I Am the Author of this Wiki-Page created on that site, if you have any questions, just send me an Private Mail and i will try to answer you when i can.

This is a bold, and if I may say naive , claim. We just do not know what we do not know

FWIW,
I see no reference to the betatools pages accessible via http:\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\betatest
Note the "index tools data files info" sub hyperlinks at the top of the page.

As with the browser version discussion this brings with it a similar Java consideration.
As a personal note I still consider the Java apps as Beta and indicative sample only
