Hi all - I'm new at converting z scale engines from 3 pole to 5 pole and was wondering if anyone out there converted an 8874 from a 3 pole to a 5 pole? I bought engine 211093 and tried to install it tonight after taking the locomotive apart, but I got stuck when trying to deal with the capacitor that comes with the 5 pole motor that does not exist with the 3 pole. There is no space in the locomotive frame to fit the capacitor. Does anyone know the trick to this? According the ajckids and zscale info I have the correct replacement engine, but I might not understand this part of the conversion as it just doesn't fit.

Any help would be great!!! Thank you so much.

Cheers,
Jorge
