Joined: 07/09/2013(UTC) Posts: 3 Location: St. Petersburg		HI, I'm curious to know if there is a list somewhere to help figure out the correct traction tires for specific engines. If I have Loco #s 003160-9 and 260417-1, how do I know if I should purchase 7151, 7152, 7153, etc. I also have the same question about brushes. Is there a list that I can refer to, or do I have to take the locos to a shop and have them figure it out for me? Any help is greatly appreciated!! THANK YOU!

Joined: 02/02/2007(UTC) Posts: 101 Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico		Hi kimmiemck, First, You need to know the Marklin catalog number of the locomotive. Marklin catalogs publish now and then spare parts tables for their locomotives that include the part numbers for the traction tires, bulbs, pickup shoes, pantographs, couplers, motor brushes, etc, etc. For example the 1994/95 Complete program English catalog has 6 pages of spare parts (pages 91-96). Some earlier catalogs have similar tables for the locos up to the year's catalog. Here is an example of p91 of the 1994 Marklin Cat: Roberto Romano attached the following image(s):

The site by HFKern also lists the motor type. DCM needs brushes 601416, SFCM and LFCM need 600300. Some models used different brush types depending on production years, so better open the model and look at the motor. That is Loco running number. 3085 Class 03 tender (003160-9) tires 7152, Brushes 601460 3064/5 diesel shunter (260417-1) tires 7153, brushes 600300
