Further to my Tehachapi Loop videos in post 103: Westbound BNSF train... ...followed by an eastbound BNSF train which met the eastbound train in the Woodford siding below the loop. The last image shows the eastbound BNSF train passing over itself on the loop. Edited by user 23 March 2025 23:54:54(UTC)

And these images conclude the journey from the RR point of view. In Kingsman, not far from the old ATSF main line, there are an old ATSF steam locomotive and a caboose. The Pacific Surfliner on the Coast Line near Carpinteria, California. In Felton, California the Roaring Camp & Big Trees narrow gauge railroad meets its partner line, the standard gauge Santa Cruz, Big Trees and Pacific Railway from Felton to Santa Cruz. One hour south of Hamburg in Germany is the station in Hützel on the single track Lüneburg-Soltau line. The transport of agricultural goods and containers feeds freight traffic with occasional rail fan passenger train run in summer. From December 2027, passenger services will be running on the line again, but the trains will not stop in Hützel. Below: To the east of Hützel, the Winsen-Lützel bridge line branches off, which is occasionally used to transport building materials. |

Very picturesque Ak. Quite a large and fancy station, I love the old style rake boards. Is Hutzel known for anything in particular?

Nothing special except that it is located in the Südheide Nature Park ("Southern Heath Nature Park"), a large protected area of forest and heathland in the southern part of the Lüneburg Heath in North Germany. |

Further upstream from the Alster lakes, the electrified, single-track northern bypass of the Hamburg freight railroad crosses the Alster, the straightened course of which is known as the “Alsterstreek”. |
