Hi ALL! First....thanks for all the warm welcomes I have received here !!! I just got a hold of a box lot of loose Marklin stuff. I was able to figure out that I have a 78100 Test Stand, but I don't have instructions. Anywere I can download them ?? The pix below are also of that box lot, my guess is that it goes with the Test Stand, but that's a guess! Anybody know what this is ? I think maybe it feeds power if you have a Loco on the Stand!? Many thanks ! MarklTedII

Steven is correct, that it comes from M-switching tracks. See the other subject with this HO section on M5202. Some good suggestions on how to clean.

I have the 71800.. It is simple to operate..
1. Loosen the screw on each side of the roller set to slide the roller set along the unit so that it sits under a driving wheel... Tighten the screws in the correct position..
2. Hook a track feed wire (usually red) to the middle plug at the rear of the unit (you need the new style plugs) and a brown wire to the outside plugs (you only need one, but two is better)..
After you do this, switch on your command station and the loco will run on the roller stand..
I will try and find the instructions for you later today.. |
