Sorry I hav'nt been on the site for some time do to ill health. I need your help with a small problem with my 60215/60213.

When I switch on the mains to both cs's after they have booted up I get a message come up on the 60213.

the messages says.

The synchonization with master CS2 will be interrupted after 4 transfer errors.

Hello Charles
I happen to me also sometimes. I have a 60214 (4.33) and a 60215(5.1) together with a router and iPhone + iPad.
Just ignore it.
I suspect there is an exchange bug at the moment that sometimes force me to reboot the master CS2 a second time.

The bug has to do with the solenoid control. E.g.: I control a 7051 crane with a 6083 and sometimes, the crane keeps moving even when I am not pushing the button on the screen.
An other example: when I select an uncoupler track, if I press a little too long, the track remains activited. the same does not occur when I drive through iPad or iPhone.
However I can use my layout without major problems
Cheers
Jean
PS: I hope your health is good now. Best wishes

Hello Jean.
When you say you reboot the master do you unplug the slave to reboot or do you let it boot up with the master. Also when you connected the 2 units together does all the locs you have on your master go onto the slave unit . The reason I ask is in my case only 6 locos have gone over to the slave.

Hello Charles

When you connect 2 CS2 together they don't fully synchronise (e.g.: icons, shuttle operation, locomotive records, etc).
I suppose this is done on purpose for club activities (when you bring your CS2 so that it does not get flooded with all infos coming from the other club members).

What I recommend is:
* to stop all shuttle train operation on your Master CS2 (if any): they must simply be inactive.
* to save the Master CS2 on a USB memory using the back-up command.
* to restore what you just saved on the Slave CS2 using the restore command.
From this moment, connecting the 2 CS2 will work well (Hum, most of the times).
If you need to reboot the master CS2, no need to disconnect anything, the slave will be informed and ask again for the data.

Note: If you don't stop all your shuttle train operations before doing the back-up, then the same shuttle will be also in operation on the slave CS2.
This will result in the absence of direction change when arriving on the shuttle train contact ( I serach the reason why for a good moment).

Kind regards

Jean
