Hello all,
I don't know if Maerklin will ever make a passenger set to compliment their Union Pacific locomotives but if they don't, I am considering an alternative. I don't have any first hand knowledge of them and would like to see if anyone here has any experience with them before asking a lot of questions. Thank you.

Hi Roman,

The answer will ultimately depend on what track you are using.
There are many model Union Pacific passenger cars available in the USA, but most are scale length, and therefore will not readily run on typical Marklin curves or switches (turnouts).

As an example, I recently purchased some Pennsylvania cars made in Brazil, because they are shorter than scale length. Other US made cars (possibly Model Power) may also suit.

regards
Kimball

HO Scale - Märklin (ep II-III and VI, C Track, digital) - 2 rail HO (Queensland Australia, UK, USA) - 3 rail OO (English Hornby Dublo) - old clockwork O gauge - Live Steam 90mm (3.1/2 inch) gauge.
