Does anyone have a good solution for powering Maxi/gauge 1 passenger cars/caboose for interior lighting? I have tried ball bearing wheel sets (LGB) with electrical pickups but they did not fit without modifications and the operation was not stellar. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Märklin used the regular sliders from the three - axle locomotives on the sound-coal-cars which were offered for the US-style Maxi-locos. The sliders were mounted to additional metal-plates which were screwed to the trucks.

The bogie only equipped with the mountings for the sliders.
