Is there any problem in converting a trix Express to AC?

I know that the Centre Pickup must be changed as the Spoon shapped end are not big enough to span two centre studs.
This is an Ae 6/6 and the centre wheel in each bogie has a very wide rail brearing surface.

Thanks.

I doubt the electric conversion would be a problem but my experience as a kid with my friend's trix was that the wheels did not fit on the marklin track, the flanges were too thick.

As mentioned before, the wheels are not compatible with the Märklin track and would have to be changed.

In short unless you are realy up for a challenge and expense, the best option is to find a similar unit that is compatible with the Märklin track and either hold on to the Trix Express unit for memory purposes or use it on a Trix Express track.
