Hi all

I'm looking pretty hard to find a S2/6 from Brawa soon and also some passenger coaches to go with her which is a bit hard since Brawa don't make any for it.
I was thinking this lot seems appropriate, http://www.ebay.com.au/i...trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 but I'm not sure.
Also two of them have Hornby couplers on one end, and with no close ups I don't know if this is easy to swap back to closer couplers or not. Do the Hornby couplers mount in the NEM pockets or would they have been removed to fit them?

It depends what kind of S 2/6 you shall get.
Brawa has one bayern and baden too.
If you shall get an bayern i suggest you buy Trix coaches Bayern.
Trix has passanger cars for express train.
S 2/6 is designed for use as express train.

I'm planning on getting a Kbay one to go with my Gt 2x4/4 from, Marklin. Are these coach's not express? I thought schnellzugwagons were express. of course I could be translating it wrong.

That's how I read it. Why don't you consider the Marklin 42765 set?

I you only want single units, then you should still be able to get Trix carriages in the same 4 axle style.
There was a run of three axle cars also and they seem to have been good sellers, but you might still get them.

Here's a site that documents the various Era I railways. Some great photography of some great models.

Thanks Arlo, I think that set might be better, especially since I don't have to worry about the Hornby couplers.
