In single point perspective, where do track lines meet?

Hi!
They had a simple plan: by making a new station under ground, they would be able to sell a large area in the city centre where the current station is. And at the same time replace the terminus station with a drive-through station to speed up trains.

Then the usual story that goes with every big project: it takes much longer than expected and prices rise due to inflation, there are unexpected problems (almost everybody knew that Stuttgart is a bad place to make tunnels, but they found some naïve persons to make the initial cost estimate).

And even worse: some say the new station does not have enough platforms to handle all the traffic. A simulation has been made and they found there are enough platforms. Some people believe the simulation was not based on proper assumptions.
Regards
Tom
