Hi Everyone, I bought the LUX HO wheel cleaning table unit and unfortunately the operating manual is in German. I asked LUX if there was an English version and they said that it is due shortly - that was about 3 months ago and still no English manual. Can someone here help me so that I can use it. Regards Greg |
Take it easy . . . . or any other way you can get it !!!!

BTW where did you obtain the English instructions? Regards Greg |

I did this over two years ago and never got around to tidying up the translation.. It was enough for me to understand how it works and how to wire it up correctly (see page 11).. I have the 9305.7 version - I assume that you have the same.. |

Thanks Adrian for the copy.
I'm a bit worried as to whether I've bought the correct unit. The product code on the box is just 9305 and not 9305-7. Have I bought the wrong unit?

Is there any feedback on the performance of the LUX Wheel Cleaning system? I saw an old locked thread with images of it but there wasn't a test of it yet for Märklin products... would love to know how things turn out. |

The wheel cleaner works great on locomotives, but is difficult to use for wagons. The big problem is that the strips become dirty very quickly and need replacing frequently, which makes an expensive way to clean wheels. If you buy one of these you need to also buy lots of cleaning strips. |
