Back again after a long time at this forum and not yet finished the HORBY _ MARKLIN project I`m going to tell you the actual status.

So- beginnig with the trip in Montrose Scotia, I thougth twice - because getting an impession of Montrose Station - you could simply find - opening googlemaps - a very simple modern station building!

Hm, strange to me. Well, at last I found out that the original MONTROSE CALEDONIAN STATION (closed in 1939!) still was exsiting.

Ok, using some utilities of Micosoft I`ve got a self-made model:

first pic: HORNBY MONTROSE CALEDONIAN STATION (in the background the original Railwayplace)
second pic: german part of ORIENTEXPRESS - a BR18 pulling MÄRKLIN and JOUEF CIWL coaches.

ORIENTEXPRESS

hope you enjoy - Marcus, and if so - you may also enjoy by reading - A long Horby Winter!
