Anybody know where a person can find old faller kit instructions? I purchased a Faller #901 kit that appears to be 99% complete, but is missing the instructions. Any help would be appreciated! The kit may have been associated with the Faller AMS roadway systems

Thank you,
Robyn

Hi Robyn, If you can't get it thru the users-net try e-mailing your request to info@faller.de

Hi Robyn,

B-901 is a very lovely kit, hard to find and expensive.
Recently there was a B-901 kit sold on Ebay for € 199.

Unfortunately there is no library or archive with instruction booklets of old Faller kits.
I know that while we speak, some Faller enthusiast are developing such an archive, including myself.
But at the moment no B-901.....

Thank you for letting me know. I got the kit from a gentleman thatew up in Germany. It was has a a child. He din't ever get around to putting it together. The box is in bad shape, but the rest appears to be complete. I am assuming it is a kit from the 1960'S.

Having a site of kit instructions sounds like a great idea! If you like, I could catalog what this kit has in it for reference, as it sounds it is rare..

Hi Robyn,

This 901 kit first appeared as a novelty in the Faller catalog 1955.
B-901 was in the Faller program from 1955 to 1964.
In catalog 1964/65 B-901 is still displayed op page 40 but B-901 disappeared from
catalog 1965/66.

The kit is a bit rare, but not super rare.
I'm confident that it won't take long before a copy of the instruction booklet pops up.

Hi Robyn,all,
Thanks for the photos!
Ok,let's try to identify the parts:

Photo #1,left to right:
Glazing/clear parts for the 'store' windows, doors, windows and ornamental parts for the peaks.
Next level,roofs and wall sections

Photo #2,decore,used for interior scenes *I think*

Photos #3,more windows,glazing,shutters,roof caps.

I am not sure you have all the parts to thisConfused

KBVROD,
Thank for looking at the photos - for some reason, I can't see any attachments in the forum, so I didn't know if it worked. You could be right, hence the need for the instructionsBigGrin .... It does look like the clear window pieces are missing, a maybe a few of the window framing. I did get a seperate Faller kit B-924 from the same person, that has way too many window frames so so of them could be the missing pieces.
The large five story pieces (10 of them) have slots and measurements on the back to make different shapes and height of walls. I am sure that these would make up most of !
the backs and sides along with the other pieces, but I could be wrong...

Hi Roybn,all,
I never use the window pieces from kits, too thick,IMHO.
