In the yearbook 2005 DB 218 217-8 (model 3047) is a conventional locomotive, even without Delta or Digital decoder.
According to the new mfx folder, DB 218 217-8 is a mfx locomotive (model 37747).
A not announced novelty from Märklin ?
Absolutly AFB-NOHAB fan ;-)

Strange, I can't find the 37747 in the Maerklin.de product database...It's also not in the CD-rom catalog. I can't recall the 37747 number too. Maybe it's a one-time series like for example the 37184 which is converted to MFX at the M* factory last year. (like some others) It's possible they did something alike with the 3047.
Anyone?

According M's 2005 database for this type of diesel loco there are currently two mfx-versions with sounds available:

Italian V216 (37746)
German V160 (29820)

ETS is showing the 37747 as a no longer produced but still maybe available item. It is said to be mfx. Price 111.86 Euro. ETS are generally slow with updating their price lists, so it may be sold out.
