i know them par examble avoid humidity
but i do not know if the locos need oil
when they are not used for a long period

Well,first run it!<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> If she is alittle cranky then you might need some oil.
It also might be the kind of oil you use.Märklin oil dries up pretty quick,so if they are sitting around,a drop oil for the motor,would not hurt. I use LaBelle 108 oil,instead of Mä oil,I also heard that Faller makes a fine oil also.

I can check the specs to see what oil this is.
