Hi all,

I have an old Brawa HO traverser table (item 1180) for which I have recently ordered an sb Modellbau Faulhaber motor.

I would like to digitise it so that it may be used with iTrain software, ECOS, etc.

Please could anyone point me in the direction of anyone who has successfully done this?

I presume one would insert a suitable loco decoder and have some s88 contacts to make it work, but that's about as far as I've gone with the thinking so far.

Thanks heaps in advance.
kind regards,
Al

Hi Frank,

thank you very much for the references to the websites. Very helpful indeed!

Please can you tell me if you have used this decoder ?

The Google translator (plus my wife's high school german) will, I hope, suffice.

kind regards,
Al.

Hi Al

No i am not using the decoder, i dont have the Brawa 1180 unit on my layout, only the Marklin 7294 traverser table and i use a Marklin k84 decoder connected with the Marklin CS2 to control the unit.
