Hi all,

Bought this Set, unboxed and with no instructions.

Any info on the Set and also how do you get the body off to check if it's analog or digital.....seller said analog.

Thanks again.

Ian.

Will go and take some photo's now...Blushing

Hi all,

The Set is analog with an electronic switch for reversing. Have had it running on my 1960's layout, although it does look a little out of place. Smile

Just loading the video. ThumpUp

Dear Ian,

your TGV should be TGV RÉSEAU-ATLANTIQUE from Lima:

Lima 149777, Road no. 4510, a set with 4 elements "M1+R1+R8+M2" (M stands for motrice and means power car, R denotes the coaches)

You may want to extend your train set with the following two sets:
Lima 149890, R3+R4+R5
Lima 149891, R2+R6+R7

In the end, it may look similar like this picture.

You find other TGV in the following website: Click! (My information is also based on this website.)

The website of Gamos85 has a lot information to provide.

Best,

Tim

The AC version of the model described by Tim is 189777. This was one of the final models by Lima before the bankrutpcy and likely has more in common with the Jouef model than with the original Lima Golden Series models from a few years prior.
