I am planning to extend the almost "finished" (?) layout, with some further train detectors, that could be required. As I'm on M tracks and the tracks are fixed now (and also for the fun of it), I am looking for some kind of infrared solution. I found the Sensa-Trak and Sensa-Trak II modules from "TCH" on:

http://www.tchtechnology.com

confused Has anyone here tested these modules?
confused Considering the description on http://www.tchtechnology.com/pr...rakII/instructions.shtml, how could the unit be connected to a Märklin s88 compatible unit (i.e. a 6088)?
confused Any other suggestion for a solution?

Cool Funck

How to connect to s88:

The module is powered by 9-18 VDC. You need a stable DC source. Connect minus of the DC source to track ground and to the black wire of the module. Connect the plus of the DC source to the red wire of the module. Connect the white wire to an input of the s88.
