Hi all,

Does any body know if the power supply that comes with the 8 amp Ecosboost 50020 is the new variable transformer ie 15v-21v ?

Also if this is the case how long has it been available.

Th ESU website indicates that it is the 19v output transformer and the instruction manual shows a picture of the 19v supply.

BUT on page 13 of the instructions under technical data it advices that it is a variable supply !!!

Best answer would be from someone who has purchased the 50020 or physically seen it.

Hopefully someone can help out.

Thanks

The power supply that came with my Ecosboost 4 amp version isn't variable, but I don't know about the 8 amp version. BTW, it isn't a transformer, but a stabilised power supply.

Hi, Diesel,

According to www.esu.eu (German site), the 4 A booster comes with an adjustable power supply while the 8 A booster (recommended for I gauge and larger) included a 19 V fixed voltage power supply.

Same information on the English site:
http://www.esu.eu/en/pro...cosboost-technical-data/
Regards
Tom
