Sometimes we drop stuff, some very unlucky induviduals will have dropped their brand new loco just as they take it out of the packaging, meaning it has to be sent back to the factory for repairs.
Well, you are not the only ones. This loco dropped about 20 feet, and now needs major repairs.

A chain snapped while the loco was being hoisted out of the ship's hold, resulting in a banana loco. By the looks of it it wasn't completely ripe either.

Kind regards,
The "there's a prototype for everything" department

Maybe that's the loco the guy in the Youtube video used to do hi digital conversion with.

No amount of rebuilding will help #70012 see service on the rails: the frame has been bent by the impact. No doubt going back to the builders to be stripped. Wonder how many will be having a lot of free time to play snooker.
