Dear Marklin friends,

Okay so this is not really a topic about the three above locomotives, but I wanted this message to be specifically to my friends over in the "Collector's Corner" and perhaps if I posted it elsewhere it would not be seen.

PS. Okay I suppose I should talk about the trains. The HS 800 is from 1945 bought in Germany and brought over by an American GI. The SLR 700 is from 1936 also bought in Germany and brought over to Pennsylvania by a small boy still in early schooling. He had the entire set SLR 741 which I now enjoy in my collection. I know it was owned by a small boy because his picture was still in the set! The SK 800 is the very rare post-war version (approx. 1945) which features some pre-war parts.
