Hi everyone. Have any of you on here had a loco weathered by Scott from Helmuts Hobbies?

I'm thinking about getting one or more of my engines custom weathered from him. I'm just trying to figure out if he's a good weatherer and if this is a good idea in general.

I've bought from Scott before. He has very nice products.

Cheers!

Scott is weathering (very heavy weathering) class 50 with Brakeman's Cab (M#37843) and 4
oil tanker sets (M#46529) for me. Considering the level of service I get from him I am
happy to pay the cost. I note there is a consideration on the price if the models to be
weathered are purchased from Scott.

I can't say much in regards to pricing, but the pieces I've seen him do are excellent

Hi
Scott at Helmut's Hobbies does a wonderful job on any Marklin repair so I would imagine that his weathering work is equally as good. I have used him since 1991 and he is very dependable and he really knows his stuff! Peter

Thank you all for your advice. I'm not sure that I want my locos weathered, but I've just always been thinking about it.

The photos on Scott's website are fantastic.

Cheers!
