Dear Mehmet, thank you so much for the great experience. Kids and ofcourse Reynold loved it. They like to come back to Istanbul more often now just because to visit you. They all hanged their certificates in their room. Now l am jelous l dont have the certificate yet so as Daphne. But we are there more frequently so next time we will come to get our certificate. We like to have you in Netherlands 🇳🇱 so we can take you to a train museums here too. What a nice hobby and a great effort you have done there. Such a hardwork but with a pleasure you created with. That can officialy become a marklin train Museum. Thanks a lot again. Lots of love Gunes Reynold Daphne Bjørn Nanno🙏🙏🙏😘

Hello dear friends, I have no doubt my post will be placed somewhere in the forum where I could not find it myself. Anyway I would like to let you know my current health position. I have had three important and successful operation. I am still be in hospital. There is a little hope that I will be able to be back home sometime this weekend. This unfortunate accident has given me some good and bad things. Last weekend I could not attend the boerse in Rossdorf. That is bad. I have learnt I had a great amount friends who have visited , called etc everyday. This good. I will miss the Dortmund Fair next April. This is bad. I will not have any microsurgery operations because the tissues in my ankle is in good situation. I still won’ t be able send any pictures or movies to the forum. This is something you decide...good or bad... Till then take care... mehmet |

With all my regards, and from all your friends here in Greece, Akis Hi my dear friend, Two days ago I was allowed to come home from the hospital. Another 65 hard days are waiting for me. If everything goes well ,after a final operation my ankle will be free. But for the time being nobody knows how much I will be able to walk. So there is not much left for me except patience and praying. Thank you very much for your kind interest. Greetings everyone to whom I know in Greece. mehmet |

As the thread says see you soon... It sounds like you need a rescue crew to come in and run the trains - before the spiders take over from lack of use!! I am now just past 5 months since my illness struck me down, I am 'almost' back to normal, apparently I still walk a bit funny (like a duck they say - characteristic of Miller-Fisher Syndrome), and I still have weird nerve sensations going on, but when I consider the alternative well I'm doing ok. Take care, no rush. The trains, and the spiders will be patiently waiting |

For the time being spiders will rule the whole bit, I am afraid So sorry to hear about Miller-Fisher Syndrome I hope you will fully recover very soon. For me a funny duck walk is still out of sight. Let’s hope the best for us. Warm greetings from a sunny day in Istanbul. |

At least you have survived your accident, unlike this woman in the UK. The result of your accident could have been so different, but thankfully you are still with us. Look forward to hearing when you make your way back home.

So glad you are "mending well'. These kinds of accidents have happened in New York City all too frequently. Construction material left unsecured in high piles or on high-rise buildings. High winds can bring any of these material to a disaster on the street. There seems to be a total lack of concern on the construction company's part, even if they get sued. Cheers, Peter.

Hi Peter, Today I have left four weeks behind the incident. Just walking on the pavement and a TIR loaded full of iron collapsed on me. Did my best but could not manage to escape fully. As you can see no high winds or other details needed in Istanbul. Just a pavement and a TIR is enough But I was so lucky to be alive. I must thank Our Lord Thank you for your warm interest which has always made me very happy. |
