I will do more testing today but I have a feeling it is going to be a problem withe the new CS2 (60215) I noticed when I used the data base to register a standard digital lok every time it came up with a BR03. I did upgrade both units 1.6.4(3) yesterday.
Thanks again for your help.

OK, so the re-registration occurs after a lok gets power off and then power on, even if no other loks were added or deleted while the re-registering lok was without power.
Can you use a non-mfx-capable booster (i.e. a booster without feedback) together with the 60215 or do loks on the boostered section stop after a while? Not a question only to you, but to anyone who knows.

Update
Well after a week I narrowed down to a bad 60215. When I connected my older 60214, with a booster, I was able to run 12 trains. After they registered they all ran without any problems. Tested for about 3 hours. When I connected just 4 trains to the 60215 after the engines registered the first time it still started registering again and again after they had stopped at the home signal. I even tried it on different main lines to see if maybe I had bad wiring on the one I tested, still did the same. Also I noticed the CS2 60215 would not synchronize up with the 60214. It didn’t make any difference which unit was slave or master, they never synchronized. The 60215 would not allow me to restore the data from a thumb drive to the 60215. When you registered a lok using the data base form the 60215 it always came up with a BR03 it did not make any difference what Marklin number you put in it always came up with a BR03, but it did include the picture icon with it.
I will ship it back to Marklin next week. I wonder if they will ship me another 60215 being they are not approved for the US market.
Thanks Again for all your help.

Hello,
I have a similar issue. And I am in discussion with the Belgian Marklin Hotline to try to get a solution.
Question : has the problem raised in this post been solved ? If yes , how ?
Thank you
JOE from Brussels
