I have been running a marklin layout with the old keyboard, memory setup and then was introduced
to the ne 60214 central station that was supposed to make life easy :0 The reason I broke
the bank and bought this set up was so I could run shuttle routes due to the fact my layout
is small. The setup I saw while visiting Germany was a straight three track layout that
was a dead end on each end. The trains would run from each station on both ends stop for a few seconds
and change direction and run to the other end. I was told i needed contact tracks at each end of the run
an S88 but was sold a viessmann 5217 which is suppose to be the same and four contact tracts and the 60214
central station but I can not figure out how to wire and program this to make it work Can anyone HELP
me.
]My name is Keith

Hello Keith,

the wiring can be done as shown in the manual of your Viessmann decoder. The contact track should be done in the way that it is permanently closed when the train stops on it.

the programming you can do like shown in the CS manual.

Enter the loco setup menu, chose the shuttle button, insert the numbers of S88 contact for the start, end and middle station, enter the stopping time delay and go for it.

welcome to the forum
