Hi
Can anyone explain for me what the CAN gateway does??
My router ipnumber is
192.168.6.1

My PC ip wich i run TC (Train controller)is 192.198.6.20

My CS2 ipnumber is 192.168.6.80

In the CAN Gateway ip is set to 192.168.6.1

Peter, that is the ROuter IP address which is the Gateway to the network and Internet. On your PC you will have a Gateway address, which is the router. Just telling the system how to escape into the ethernet world

Isn't the CAN gateway supposed to be set to 192.168.6.255, the broadcast address?

Do i have to put that ipnumber (192.168.6.255) into my router firewall??
and what portnumber should i use??

Allready read it...Still not anything about if i should put the ipnumber 192.168.6.255 into my firewall and no info about portnumber..Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh
