Have received my micro switches the other day and have replaced them with the original Märklin ones.
I've noticed and most probably most of other members have had the same experience, sometimes the lever doesn't go back to its neutral position therefore the possibility arises the contact is still open.
I've come up with 2 reasons, 1.) the soldering time is too long and secondly the soldering temperature could be to high, eliminating some of the tension within the micro switch.
I also noticed the micro switch when soldering, it has a slight movement within the soldering holes. by moving them upwards gives you this bit of extra tension which is needed to keep the lever level.
