A very simple question, I think.
What's the difference?
The 65000 manual has the 650 as an accessory.

650 is the old 3-digit ref. number, 65000 is the new 5-digit ref. number.
The 65000 includes routes, for the 650 routes must be purchased.

The software 2.0 (RRP Euro 29) can be used for both - and AFAIK routes are included.

The route you want a train to go.You can program them.
