Marklin 7286 Remote Control turntable
Hi All
I am having problems with finding some parts for the Marklin (Fleischmann) 7286 Remote Control turntable. The parts I require are the 2 thin long plates that act as the centre rail on the turntable deck. I have tried the Australian agents for Flieschmann (Mittogong NSW) without success.
Would anyone know how to find the Marklin part number for this so as to try and find the part via Marklin.
The actual problem with the plates is, only one of the plates touches the 3-rail contact on the exit road. I could add some brass stip to overcome the problem on the contacts. However it is a lovely accessary and want to use original parts to keep it original.
So if anyone can find out what the the part numbers are, I would be greatfull of the information.
Cheers Bryan

Hi Bryan, Not sure if this helps but if you know the Fleischmann equiv number for the turntable you may be in luck. I just went to http://www.fleischmann.d.../ersatzteilblaetter.html and typed in 6152 which is a ligit Fleischmann turntable number and up came the parts diagram. cheers Bob. |

Hi Bryan, a google search lists that the Fleischmann 6652 is equal to the Marklin 7286. A data sheet on the 6652 is downloadable from the above link. This maybe some help. cheers Bob. |

Hi Bob
Thanks for the information about the turntable. My 3-rail fleischmann turntable is very old about 20 years but still as new with little use. The parts I require have changed in spec over time and the new Marklin rail extensions 7287 do not work with the old turntable deck pick up panels. The contact tonges at either end of the pick up strips are too short.
With the part number supplied will try one of the german shops. I do find getting parts in Australia hard. The Marklin agent up in Queensland is not really a help. I cannot blame him as the profit on spares would not be much. The German shops deal in large numbers of spares and easier for them.
Thanks Bryan
