Hello All:
I was wondering if anyone could help me with adding PNG images to the CS2. I have recently purchased a couple of Marklin Loks and although they are listed in the data base of the CS2, they are shown in the "Chinese Red" scheme. The Loks in question are the BR 151 in green scheme and the BR 120 in original Cream and Red.
I know I have to create both images to a PNG format with a maximum size of less than 8 KB (which I can do in Photoshop), but once I have these images and i have them stored in a memory stick, how do I get the the CS2 to upload these images? I have done this before, and I just forget how to do it these days. Any help as to how to do it, or find directions on how to initiate this would be very appreciated. |

Hello to all:
I want to send thanks to both HO and Antonios for the great answers. I have the software to reduce these locos to PNG files, however I was not putting the pictures in the 'icons' folder which was therefore not being properly read by the CS. Thanks again, all is working great, pictures transferred just fine. I just wish I could copy the format the Maerklin uses in their inherent system so that my PNG's would match the systems format, but, this is minor:) |

The transparency? That's the only problem I had - until I realized my Photoshop was too old, but GIMP can do the trick. Actually I can even create the transparency with Photoshop, I only need GIMP to create PNGs with transparency (my old Photoshop loses transparency while creating PNG files). |
