Joined: 09/08/2004(UTC) Posts: 164 Location: DeLand, FL, USA		I have the opportunity to purchase the Amtrak ICE at a very good price from an internet dealer. I've had a difficult time finding out much about the set except that it is Delta format. So a few questions; - are the cars lighted? - do the locomotive running lights work in both directions? - could the locomotives be converted to locsound 2 or mfx? - any operating problems that any of you might be aware of? Joined: 13/07/2004(UTC) Posts: 642		Hi, if it's a 3700 Amtrak ICE - then it's no Delta, it's Digital. The cars should be lightened and the running lights must work in both directions. This set (if I remeber correctly) has only 1 powered unit (yes there are 2 drive units, but only 1 is powered) - which could probably be converted to locsound or mfx - but: there is most likely a change of current pickup (on change of direction) that must be handled... which I don't now if the loksound can do - and what mfx really can, I guess not many of us know yet... Anyway - it's a really nice train which I really wanted to get once... Fredrik.
