I think this has already been talked about but the CBS morning show did a piece on the collector Green.

Being in Australia, I don't watch CBS, but that report on the toy train collection was excellent. My wife enjoyed watching it too.

...psst,..... I think she understands.

Hi Dusan,
In this SMS era, your original post was quite sensible, as in "you can't CBS" = "you can't receive a CBS signal", or "you are unable to watch CBS on television".

You really wonder how many single buyers are out there who would have that sort of cash for something of that size?

The mind boggles but what an awesome thing to see, let alone to own even a small part of

The crowning glory of that CBS show, is when Jerry Greene says " I am selling it, because there is nothing left to collect - I have it all".

And then says "The interest is in finding and buying it".

And then "Yes, when I have sold it, I will start to collect something else".

He has history - he sold his entire Lionel collection some time ago.

I'll bet there is not enough of some stuff to even bother collecting. What about something really ubiquitous, like kitchen scales, or wood planes, you could fill a house with either of those. Laugh
