So Maerklin now has 3 SMP supplies.

66361 36VA 230V

60061 60VA 230V (now with 4 pin Mini DIN connection)

60101 100VA 230V (now with 4 pin Mini DIN connection) (pg 139)

Still no 110 - 120V for North America, Japan, and others.

And from the 2011 new items the 60130 DC - AC converter for AC/DC accessories, interesting.

Well the new Littfinski DatenTechnik (LDT) DB-4 SMP supply and 4.5A booster maybe the way to go for the non 230V crowd looking at a CS2, or an expanding layout

This one was to explicitly point out that there are no 110 V SMP:s available...

That would be kerrect. Everyone uses 220-240 V Power. NO Maerklin users have 110V powerConfused

That's right.
They write in every loco pamphlet that power supplies for 110 volts must not be used.

But Märklin should offer power supplies for 115 and 240 volts for their fans outside Europe.
Or even simpler: find a wide range power supply than can run on 100 through 250 volts.
Regards
Tom

The new ESU Switch Mode Power Supply is incredibly light and small for the 5 amps of power on tap.

With the price of copper I'm surprised that any one would make old stile transformers now days.
