I have a question for the group concerning the digital controllers. I currently use the 1.9 Amp MS1 and am happy with it. But at some point I will expand my layout and my needs will increase. Can someone simply list the various larger Digital Control Units out there. My past experience was with the 6021 family of control products and I currently have the MS1.

So besides the older delta, 6021, MS1 and MS2 products what is available? Is it the CS2? And can someone also include the other non Marklin products that are compatible. I am not looking for pros and cons at this point or a what is better or worse comparison, I am just curious to know what is out there as far as products go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Chris ( for now a happy MS1 user)

P.S. if this topic is already on this forum I am happy to be redirected.

Check www.rjftrains.com, one of the good sources of information (Marklin compatible digital contrl). In the middle of the page you will see "Compare the digital controller available"
Or copy this link http://www.rjftrains.com...ital_info/difference.htm

Hi Chris

The comparison table is not up to date with the latest offerings from the three suppliers listed. There are also other suppliers not listed on the comparison. Take your time Chris, do a lot of research and do not fall into the "which is best" trap. There is no such thing, at the end of the day it will depend on your personal choices and preferences.

Chris,

You can look at the nice table created by Soren (sjlauritsen) here and ask some questions:
