Hi everybody,

I have two polls running to find out how Central Station users think about their controllers.
https://www.marklin-user...aspx?g=posts&t=17829
https://www.marklin-user...aspx?g=posts&t=17828

This made Intellibox users sad because they can't vote. ThumbDown

I promised to make polls in February for all users. ThumpUp

But before I can do that, I need your feedback: which digital stations must be included in the polls?

These will be in the polls:
Märklin 6020/6021
Märklin Mobile Station 60651/60652/60653
Märklin Central Station 60212/60213/60214
ESU ECoS 50000, 50200
Intellibox, Intellibox IR

So please let me know which other digital stations you have or had in use.

These digital stations won't be in the polls unless you think they should be there:
Märklin 6027/6030
Märklin Delta Control 6604/66045
Märklin Delta Station
Märklin Starter Set controller (IR, New Delta)
Viessmann Commander
Roco Multimaus
Lenz Digital
Fleischmann Twincenter, Lokboss
DDW, DDL?
Piko?
Other brands not yet mentioned
Regards
Tom

I use an IB/IR hooked up to my computer for my main layout, and a 6021 with control80f for my Era III layout. The IB on my main layout is just a conduit for computer control, though.

I think Delta should be there, I think we have members using it...

How about an option "home made electronics"?
Or even "direct software control with booster only"?...

Or are you looking for commercial products only?

And of course, the poll life savers "Other system" and "Do not use digital control"...BigGrin

Good point. I think I should include that as a possible answer.

Thank you, John, but this is not yet the poll.

CU 6021 and MS 60652 have wild cards for the competition.
In this thread I'm looking for nominations that are not set for the "final" yet.

Tom

No problem, John.
I only wanted to stop others from following your example coz I'm lazy - and evaluation of this thread will be easier if only uncommon controllers or unusual controller usages are nominated here.

Tom

I have both a 6021 and an MS1 but I am using home-made/"direct drive" solutions as well. On our company layout we use a Linux based controller developed by me, with a Delta station as a booster. Maybe DIY controllers and computer "direct drive" should be alternatives.
