Hi All,

Does anyone know anything about the “System Jörger”? It seems to be a German patented system for HO, Z and N track cleaning.

http://www.system-joerger.de/

Cheers,

Hi!

Some Märklin cleaning cars (e. g. 46042 and 86501) use this system.

Hi Thomas,

Do you know if the System Jörger is any better or worse than the other track cleaning systems, such as LUX, Herkat, Centerline, etc.?

Cheers,
Ranjit

System Jörger is non-abrasive.
LUX normally is abrasive (depends on what "cleaner" you install).

I ordered a System Jörger car, but didn't get it yet.

I only have experience with "NOCH Reinigungszwerge H0 5 Stück 60157". They can prevent dirt from piling up, but have little effect if rails are already dirty.

To answer Ranjit's question from the Z scale thread: I ordered a TRIX T24090 (a 46062 in grey).
