I came across the great website today and though I would share it.
It contains a lot of information and plans for making your own Booster, passenger car lighting and more.[:p]

It's all in German but Google or Babblefish do a pretty good job of translating if you need it.

They also post that a plastic housing (Pultgehäuse) identical in design to the Märklin box used for tranformers & Boosters but in double wide, is available from http://www.conrad.de as part number 211990-92.
but I can not find this item on thier site. I emailed them and all they told me was that they do not ship to the USA because of high costs. So I still don't know if it is available.
Has anyone used thiese or do you know where to get empty plastic boxes like Märklin/Uhlenbrock boxes?

Tamrac, if that company is too small for world-wide shipping why not try to get one of those old 52VA transformers and use the shell ? With the new 60VA on the rise they should be really cheap now, in condition "used" especially. And as a bonus you would have a real M box with logo Smile
