I have one Roco loco which runs perfectly well on C track and M track, but I don't have any K track, sorry!

I don't see why it shouldn't run just as well on K track.

Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

I have had no major problems with any of my Roco loks on any Maerklin track. The only issue that I can report is that during the period 2004-2006, Roco AC loks were delivered with traditional sliders that were particularly noisy in operation. The reason for this was that for several years prior, Roco had been using the Flusterschleifer, a technology which they had licensed from Mr Doll (RailTop). The bankruptcy of Roco resulted in that license being voided. Modelleisenbahn GmbH agreed to a new license a few years later, resulting in Roco loks once again being among the quietest runners on Maerklin tracks. Loks equipped with the classic slider can be relatively easily retrofitted with the equivalent Flusterschleifer to improve performance and lessen the clack-clack sound.

No problem at all.
Have them running without any derailments or any other hiccups.

I own 3 Roco´s. I find that one very old one, with the old kind of slider, the slider can get caught by the pukos on the slim K-switches.
The newest one I own (from around year 2000) is the abosulut BEST RUNNER that I have. Beats all other Märklins, on both M and K track, in both silence, smoothness and stability!
