Is there an online database for Marklin models that would show year introduced, year out of production original price ect? Or is the only source of information the Koll's Catalogs?

Hi,
I think you will find this link a good place to start.

The HFKern site is no longer maintained (models up to about 2004 are included).

Here's a source for more current models (small but still growing):

If you have the Google translation toolbar installed in your browser, it will automatically translate all the fields in the database Tom gave the link for.

I have seen several projects in the works for a database of HO/00 production from 1935-1960s. I am also helping on this project for a few other websites, but the task is very time consuming. This kind of thing will be available in English by the end of the year. I can assure you of this because I am working on my own database...

best regards,

Paul

I like the first site for the photos and information but it is not searchable. The second site would be great if it could link to photos. I see the second site covers all types of manufactures. Seems like someone with too much free time could put the two together. javascript:insertsmiley('RollEyes%20','/forum/Images/Emoticons/msp_rolleyes.gif')

Thanks for the links.

This is also a great resource:

I think this one is also not up to date, unfortunately (up to 2006)

It contains only few photos, but it does support them - and asks for contributions.
