Hi all, I have managed to break my coupling pin on my Senator & I have nobody to blame but myself Angry. Now comes the part where I want to order the broken part via the "Marklin Online Shop" #39100 on Page 30. In the blow up diagram Item No.18 is where the Circuit board with 5 pins is located & priced at 14,95 € & listed as "Kupplung M" #118137.If I go to diagram 2 the same item on the carriage is listed as Item No.8 @ 9,99 € listed as "Kupplung W" #120271. Both of these items have five pins. On the right hand side of the column is listed four sets of numbers namely 128364,120292,128393 & 120303 for you to click on to get the prices. Now if I click on 128393 & go to No.8 I come up with this: #128402
Leiterpl. Innenbel. Kopfglied B 9,99 €. I am a little confused as to how to order this item. Can anyone out there please guide me as to how to order the correct item or would I be safe in getting the whole thing as in No.18?

Not sure if I would bother ordering vis the Online Shop, as they do not deduct VAT, and charge a fortune for postage.

Better to order via Lokshop or ETS.

Lokshop have a list of spare parts and prices under the Marklin pricelist. You may have to wait a while, while they (Lokshop) order the parts from Marklin.

The couplings look very similar to those on the 39081 VT08 railcar. If so, that railcar has male and female couplings, with the male having the pins. It may be that one of the part no's you mention is the male coupling, the other the female (I'm guessing here, as I don't have the Senator's exploded parts diagram in front of me).

Sorry, I can't help much ...

"Kupplung M" is the "male" part with the pins, "Kupplung W" is the "female" part with the holes.

Tom

The part no's for couplers on 39081 aren't mentioned in the parts list for 39100, so I guess they aren't the same.

Probably best to email the Marklin service centre and ask their advice.

Hello,

the part number is the 118137 for the male coupling. I had the same problem. The spare part includes the complete intercar connection (the complete black plastic part), completely assembled and including the axle.

the 128402 is the complete PCB of the motor car, visible directly on the first pdf.

I ordered my spare parts befor 11am, in the evening of the same day I got the mail that the parts I rodered already left on the way to me. That's what I call a great service ThumpUp

Hello Stephan,

Many thanks for confirming my suspicions that the part was included in the complete assembly. I was originally not sure due to looking at blow up diagrams of say the 39081 that uses a similar board & shows it as such in the diagram as a separate item . Well I have sent the new order to the dealer in Germany with an apology note. I do hope he is an understanding Chap. Once again many thanks for your assistance.

Rgds
