Hi all!

I have moved furniture again and want to fit in as much as possible but still have some space in my small apartment. This is the space that I can come up with. Hope you don´t get tired of me asking for help. I have about 30 trains and would like to use them, either waiting in a shadowstation or driving.

This is the space I´m gonna use. It will be made up with 2 tables sized 2200*1200 mm and 2100*1200 mm which will be 3400*2100 mm in L-shape The width is 1200. The blue box indicates where I have a window. I´ll propably have a removable backdrop there. The red and and green lines represents possible cuts due to maintenance from the rear.
I´m totally out of ideas on this plan, but I demand the following:

*C-track or maybe a mix with K-track. I don´t own any K-track.
*Central Station
*Space for long trains. About 5 trains are betweeen 210-230 cm. CZ, ICE3, F7 Amtrak, and so on. The rest are between 100-200 cm long.
*Station area with space for long trains and the Bonn station from Faller.
*Shadowstation with space for those long trains.
*No R1-curves, maybe curved turnouts.
*I have alot of Faller military buildings which I intend to use.
*A goods yard for Big Boys and all my boxcars would be nice.

If you have any plans or any suggestions on a plan you´re very welcome.

Hi, There is a-lot you can do with that sized layout. You can be very creative if
you get the Maerklin software for layout planning. I started to build my new layout
last September but for three years I made several different plans using the software.
Of course, I then had to decide on one of the plans to actually build but for me
the cost of the software was worth it. I am very pleased with the layout I'm now
building. Good luck, Peter

I built this layout on a similar sized table. This particular version is the C track version, kindly redrawn by forum member Huttel, and has R2 as the minimum sized curves. My layout is M track, and the layout design is one that appeared in the 1971 Marklin catalog.

I am considering extending the layout to include an underground storage facility underneath the main board.

My layout thread can be found here: https://www.marklin-user....aspx?g=posts&t=6626

Robert, that trackplan is in my layout thread, like we told you (the other Robert told you which specific post it was in).

How come you didn't see it there, and the answers to your initial query, rather than asking for the same info in other threads?
