Here is the first dealer photo of the 37321: http://www.bahnorama.ch/catalog/images/DSC01240.JPGBahnorama (Bern, Switzerland) According to the photo, it looks like the positioning of the Cargo logo has been corrected vis-a-vis the pre-production model that was on display at this year and last year's Messe and other trade shows. I would expect that the model will be available in the rest of Europe within a week or so and worldwide shortly thereafter. Regards Mike C

Love the picture, it is a Re 6/6? I have a HAG Ae 6/6 "Erstfeld" Cargo so I guess it will get some company in the near future. According to my dealer, it is a 1st Quarter release.

Very good... thanks for the info, Mike..
I'm more keen on the SBB Cargo modernized version of the Re6/6. Will have to see if I can squeeze this one in this year's budget. |

I got my brand new 37321 and wanted to share these pictures with you. It is a great looking loc and runs extremely smoothly besides the 3 boggies which otherwise would cause severe running problems. M* engineering has been proven exceptional in this case! Bravo M*!!! |

Thanks for the great pictures Symeon! Mine should be here shortly. Got the 37320 a few days back and really excited about this one coming. I was so "fired-up" over the weekend that went ahead and ordered also the 37360 Ae 610 "Landquart" and will keep the 37363 limited edition "Ertsfeld" in a case. All in all, have about 10 SBB Cargo locos in this great paint scheme. |

Does anyone know if these are readily available yet? I can't seem to find a dealer with one on the shelf. I'm about to do a backorder with ETS, but if Marklin has shipped all they are going to make then I'll try and find one thats out there.
I don't quite get Marklin's shipment strategies. it seems to me that sometimes things come in several phases (production runs maybe?)and sometimes its one shot and they are gone right away. it can be tough for me as I hate pre ordering, and then loosing out due to an exchange rate change or dealer never delivering... |

I don't like having to pre-order for stuff too due to the lack of knowing of delivery date. Not just the problem of exposing the purchase to uncertain exchange rate fluctuation, but I like to time my order with when the period my C/C actually roll over. I think it comes down to the forecasting of demand by Marklin. Obviously they don't want to produce too many quantities of the model in one go to avoid too many of these sitting in their warehouses.. but if they under forecast it, they would lose the % of potential sale - at worse to a different brand. It is difficult to get it right with a company that makes hundreds of different product/tooling every year; and usually they can't get it quite right. |

5HorizonsRR wrote:Does anyone know if these are readily available yet? ..... My buying strategy is to pre-order all models that I am interested in from Lokshop. Have done also that for 37320 and 37321. The ones I will not buy but still like I will look for into e-bay. I think it is difficult with some dealers as they will keep minimal stock. I have a couple of Swiss dealers and you can check these: Zuba TechBarp TechRoundhouseThey will stock Swiss models and you may find some older releases. I am pretty much satisfied with everything Marklin does and thus buy "closed box" as soon as they are announced. My current list of back-orders includes the whole TGV set, the SBB TEE Bavaria set, 37360 Ae 3/5 and 37513 Ae 610. I pretty much know what to expect since, beside the brand new TGV, all other models are re-runs with some modifications (sound, high-efficiency etc.) and I have some of the older ones. |
