Can't help thinking that it would had been deliberately planned for this year...

As for the reason why? Who knows? Maybe Maerklin NL just got to be the chosen one.

I am guessing that the information was communicated from Maerklin to the respective national distributors in preparation for the coming year and Maerklin NL decided to put it online. It is quite likely that some elements at head office are likely upset that they were upstaged, but others are probably quite happy as the leak has helped create a buzz on the announced items, which may result in more interest in the company at this year's Messe, as well as potentially distract others from the fact that Maerklin has not found a buyer one year after declaring bankruptcy.

It is often hard to tell the difference between a real "leak' and a planned one.

If it was a planned leak, they wouldn't do it via marklin.de, it would be done via another channel, in this case marklin.nl.

The webmaster of marklin.nl is much faster I presume.

Maybe maerklin.de wait until they have 4 or 5 topics for their newsletter before the go online with new content.
