What are your experiences with the BRAWA-models for AC-track? Are they running OK? Do the locomotives report themselves on the track like the MFX-locos do? Do you switch sound- and smoke generator with the Mobile Station just as easily? (Many questions...)

I don't have any Brawa locos myself, but the ones I have seen run on Marklin track as good as Marklin models. Brawa locos do not have mfx decoders (afaik), so you would have to pick a loco in the MS database that has similar functions to your Brawa one, and use that (with a change of address as applicable).

Once set up on the MS, you will be able to control the functions as easily as any Marklin model.

The reviews in the "Locomotive Reviews" section suggests all is well
with them. I have an S 2/6 on order because of Luis' review[B)][B)]
of that same model.

In my tiny collection i have to date collected four Brawa models (3 x locomotives & 1 x rail car set).

Among these is the K.Bay.Sts.E.B version (part no. 40257) of the S 2/6. I agree 110% with Luis, this is without a shadow of doubt the most beautifull model in my tiny collection. If it made any sence at all i would get another one! (there are four models in this S 2/6 series, also have a look at 0661, 40253 & 0659).

I am controlling my layout with a 6021 (waiting for my EcoS 50200) and have had no problem with running Brawa models on the layout.

Get yourself a Brawa product, you are going to be pleasantly surprised!

My newest Brawa purchases should arrive next week, an E77 DRG loco (part no 43033) and some era II passenger coaches. (part no's. 45250, 45251 & 45252)

Mine run well on C track and all that is required is to change the address from 3 to whatever you wish (other than that already allocated to another loco of course) The MS will run the loco without any problems.
Expensive but worth buying.

I have a Brawa model of the Talent 643 railcar. It runs well enough with the mobil station, although a little rough. I am controlling it using the factory default address, 3.

It depends what you buy.. I have a premium digital Orient express electric loco that runs beautifully and uses a ESU decoder.. But I have a little track repair car, but it runs horribly...

Hi,

most Brawa locos run very well on AC, esp. BR 06, G 3/4H KBayStsB, S 2/6 or BR 19 1001. The small tank steamer T 3 runs dreadfully, the Diesel BR 216 runs ok.
But be aware that they are very detailed. Therefore you have to be very careful when you take hold of one; otherwise there might soon brake away some small parts. But, anyhow, they are beautiful.
