Ian, a Google search can often find what you are looking for. The other alternate is to check the Marklin Product Database.

http://www.maerklin.com/...%2Fproduct_database.html

This reveals that 37059/34059 were produced in the 2000/2001 catalog (a picture of the loco is on the front cover).

Description from the catalog is:

"34059 Freight Locomotive with Tender.
Prototype: Royal Wurttemberg State Railways (K.W.St.E.) class K.
Model: With DELTA electronic circuit. High-efficiency motor with
bell-shaped annature. 6 axles powered. 4 traction tires. Rigid frame
with side play for axles enabling unit to negotiate sharp CUNes.
Adjustable close coupling between locomotive and tender. Detailed
engineer's cab. Standard coupler pocket with guide mechanism
on the rear of the tender. Free standing lanterns with maintenancefree
LEDs, Equipped for installation of 7226 smoke generator
(conventional operation) or Seuthe no. 11 (DELTA and Digital).
Length over buffers 23.5 cm 1 9-1/4".

37059 Same as 34509, but with digital decoder and adjustable
high-efficiency propulsion. Headlights digitally controlled. Equipped
for installation of 7226 smoke generator.
This model is being offered for two-rail DC systems by TRIX
(T22707).

With the electrification of this mountain route most of the class 59
locomotives in Germany were out of a job and were sent to Austria.
Several units wandered to Yugoslavia or Hungary in World War II,
and only a few reached the German Federal Railroad. As a subclass
they were used infrequently and at the beginning of the 1950s were
retired.

The 34059/37059 freight locomotive with a tender is being
produced in a one-time series only in 2000 on the occasion
of the anniversary "150 Years of the Geislingen Grade"."

Hi Steven
Do you mean I can convert a 34059 to digital,or would it be cheaper
to look for a 37059.
What parts are required to convert a 34059 to digital.
Thanks again.

The digital version didn't have sound so better off just upgraded the delta to a loksound 5. Congrats if yours is already upgraded.

I have the 37058 (DB livery) upgraded to loksound. It's a great loco.
